On  23 February 2022, McTaggart Construction submitted a Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) to Renfrewshire Council. A statutory 12 week period for consultation commenced on that date and this will run through to 20 May 2022.

Th purpose of the PAN is to consult on a proposed residential development comprising around 60no properties for affordable housing. The properties will be  low rise and in the form of cottage, semi detached and terraced.

With the current Covid situation we will not be able to have face to face consultation events. Based on the outline information contained within the Proposals sections, we are delivering the public consultation in the following means:-

  • Open Live Form: We will have a zoom meeting on Tuesday 12th April between 2:00 - 6:30pm.     Join zoom meeting here. This link will be open on this day between these times. The project architect and representative from McTaggart Construction will be in attendance during this time. Please note this link will not be monitored out with these times.

  • Online Feedback:  The proforma is included in the Feedback Tab. This is completed anonymously and can be returned by clicking on the Submit Feedback button. Within the form there is space to add any comment not covered by any of the specific questions. All feedback to be returned by midnight on 20 May 2022.

  • Email:  Any comments can be returned to stirlingdrive@mctaggartconstruction.co.uk by midnight on 20 May 2022, following which this email will be closed

McTaggart Construction are looking to provide new build social housing on the cleared site served off Stirling Drive and is located behind the parade of shops on Clippens Road.  The site has been identified by Renfrewshire Council as a potential site for development of social housing and is included in the Strategic Housing Investment Plan Document 2022-2027.

 

The proposals for this development have not been finalised – the site layouts and elevations  that have been prepared and are included in the Proposals section have been prepared to demonstrate how the site could be developed.
