Welcome to the second consultation on our proposed residential development on the vacant land located north of Montgomery Road, west of Arkleston Road, and east of Glencairn Court in Paisley.
On April 12th, 2024, MAST Architects submitted a Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) to Renfrewshire Council, indicating intent to apply for planning permission. A statutory 12-week consultation period began on that date and will run until July 5th, 2024.
The purpose of this PAN is to consult on a proposed residential development comprising around 65 affordable housing properties. These properties will be low-rise and include cottage flats, semi-detached, and terraced homes with a mix of 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 bedrooms.
The second public consultation event will be held on Thursday 27th June, 2024, from 3pm to 7pm at:
Gallowhill Community Centre,
166 Netherhill Rd,
Paisley,
PA3 4SF.
This will be a drop-in session, and visitors can attend at any time between the stated hours.
In addition to the public consultation, an online exhibition is available for viewing. The material used for the online consultation will match the information available at the public event on 27th June.
To assist with the consultation, we have prepared a short feedback form allowing people to provide comments. This feedback will help inform our eventual planning application submission to Renfrewshire Council. The feedback form for this consultation event will close on Friday, 28th June.
We invite the local community and other stakeholders to review these emerging proposals before a planning application is submitted to Renfrewshire Council, and we would greatly appreciate your feedback and comments.
This second consultation event follows on from the event on 28th May and will illustrate updates which have been made to the proposals
Please note that comments made to the prospective applicant in response to either of these two public consultation events are not representations to the planning authority. When the Planning Application is subsequently submitted to Renfrewshire Council, neighbour notification will be undertaken by the Council, and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
We have provided the background to our proposals, identifying our vision for the site and how the emerging proposals have been developed.
