Development at
Abbotshall Avenue, Drumchapel

On 27 January, MAST Architects submitted a Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) to Glasgow City Council for the site at Abbotshall Avenue, Drumchapel, Glasgow. A statutory 12 week period for consultation commenced on that date and this will run through to 21 April 2023.

Th purpose of the PAN is to consult on a proposed residential development comprising around 70no properties for affordable housing. The properties will be in the form of flats, cottage flats, semidetached and terraced with a mix of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bed dwellings.

A public consultation event will be held on Monday 6 March 2023 between 3pm – 7pm at

Drumchapel Library, 65 Hecla Ave, Glasgow G15 8LX.

This will be a drop in session with visitors able to attend at any time between the stated times on the day.

In addition to the public consultation, this online exhibition is available for viewing. The material used for the online consultation will match the information that will be available at the Public Meeting on 6 March.

To assist consultation, a feedback form has been included and, along with set questions, there is sufficient space to provide any other comments with the proposal. The feedback form will close on Monday 20 March.

The proposals for this development have not been finalised – the site layouts and elevations  that have been prepared and are included in the Proposals section have been prepared to demonstrate how the site could be developed.

This consultation forms part of the formal consultation and has been developed to provide information on the potential development at Abbotshall Avenue. All comments and feedback will be reviewed and considered prior to the Planning Application being lodged with Glasgow City Council. When the Planning Application is subsequently submitted to Glasgow City Council, neighbour notification will be undertaken at that time by the Council, and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
